Our hands-on Weave Hair Extension Training course is designed to give qualified hairdressers the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to offer professional weave hair extensions to their clients.
You’ll learn how to create secure, comfortable and discreet beaded foundations, alongside professional weft placement and application using the techniques we use within our own salon. We’ll also cover consultation, colour matching, blending, maintenance and safe removal to help you create beautiful, natural results for your clients.

Consultation & Client Assessment
Learn how to carry out a thorough consultation, assess suitability for weave extensions and recommend the correct hair, length, weight and application for your client's desired result.
Professional Colour Matching

Sectioning & Beaded Foundations
Learn professional sectioning and bead placement to create a secure, comfortable and discreet foundation for weave application.

Understand how to work with our ultra-thin Genius Wefts, including placement, layering and creating natural-looking results with minimal bulk.
Creating Bespoke Results
Learn how to adapt placement and combine shades to suit different hair densities, lengths and desired results, from additional volume to full transformations.
Cutting & Blending
Learn how to blend the extensions into the client's natural hair for a seamless finished result.
Maintenance & Aftercare
Understand professional maintenance, refitting and client aftercare, including how to advise clients on looking after their weave between appointments.

Ongoing Support
Your relationship with Foxy doesn't end when your training day does. Following your course, you'll have access to ongoing support from our experienced team should you need advice as you begin offering weave extensions to your own clients.

What's Included
Your course includes a professional Foxy weave application and removal kit, along with a Foxy Colour Ring to take away with you. You'll also receive your course materials and certification following successful completion of the course and associated coursework.
Course Timings
Training runs from 10:00am–5:00pm. Refreshments and lunch are provided throughout the day.
Location
Training takes place at Foxy Hair Extensions, Metrocentre, Gateshead, within our working professional hair extension salon.
Class Size
Places are limited to a maximum of 6 students per course, allowing plenty of opportunity for hands-on learning and individual guidance throughout the day.
Entry Requirements
This course is designed for qualified hairdressers. Proof of a recognised hairdressing qualification will be required prior to attending.
